Podcast SummaryElectronic dance music in all its forms:
About Massimo ParamourMassimo Paramour is not new to the club music scene; he is a musician in every sense of the word. He graduated with a diploma in Organ and Composition in 1991 and spent a few years as a choir and orchestra conductor and working as a session keyboardist/pianist for several recording studios and record labels. His career as a dance music producer started at Media records (Italy) in 1994, alongside DJ Professor and Mauro Picotto, producing and remixing international dance hits by Cappella, Sharada House Gang, 49ers, Jimmy Sommerville, Zeitia Messiah, Tito Puente, Hi-Lux and many more. He took over the undergroung sub-label Heartbeat records in 1996 teaming up once again with international producers such as Ralphi Rosario, Ashley Beedle, Gemini, Roc and Cato, Chris Coco, A Man Called Adam, Ricky Montanari, Gareth Cooke, Adrian Morrison. In 1997 he moved to NYC where he mainly collaborated with Easy Street Records, producing and remixing for, among others, De'lacy, Debbie Pender, Michele Blade, Jocelyn Brown, Shawnee Taylor, Darryl D. Bonneau, Dina Carroll and Angie Brown. Since 2004, he is based in London where he has continued his musical career, and in 2009 he started DJing professionally becoming resident-DJ at the prestigious monthly party MEGAWOOF and, just within a year, he received an award in the “best newcomer DJ” category by BOYZ magazine. Since then, his DJ activity has been increasing, with appearances in several major events in the UK and all around the world, Matinee and Circuit pre-festival among others. He recently joined the team of resident DJs at MUCCASSASSINA club (Rome), and has been co-producing and remixing for his friend DJ Pagano reaching the top 10 dance-chart in Germany with the single “the Reflex” sung by Peyton. His musical style reflects his big passion for electronic music, although the long time experience in the music business allows him to easily adapt to any kind of dance-floor, ranging from House, Tech-house, Techno, Electro and Indie dance., keeping his personal touch recognizable throughout the set. Besides his activity as DJ-producer, he still writes and arranges music for tv , documentaries, adverts and emerging singers. Followers
